Maybe cnc stitching the red then on your scrim you cut out the foam "V"groove around each diamond and thats where you black thread will lay on right on that v groove.

Decided to go big, pick up a Juki LU-1508nh lower than what they are being sold for. Supposedly has about 1yr use.

The stitching on the left is with the new karpet king 812k stitching is much more nicer.[

First time using a carpet serger Karpet king got it for $150 bucks plus parts that need replaced.

On your small serger that looks like mine which NC yarn do you used.
Looks like the stitch lenght was to small for the NC yarn I bought. So they lengthen the stitch it looks alot better.

Who do you get your yarn from? Looking online NC looks to be the only one.

I should off taken my nc yarn to set up the tension for my yarn instead of his. But his does look round and a little more stiffer compared to the flat nc yarn...

Have you guys tried using those small routers with a foam router bit?

Is Landau foam necessary? I seen some people installing the vinyl over the painted area.
I believe this car did not come with any edge trim. It was just glued on the edges and cut window areas where tucked inside window seal.

I recently did these did 1/2 scrimm foam at tops and 1/4 sides and cut off the foam from the seam allowence but I still fill they are bulky.

do you think they attached the scrimm foam on the seat foam?

ok I done some seats with 1/2 on sides but I feel they are to bulky when doing double top stitch... I'll try the 1/4

I feel ok about it, Its 4 layers of vinyl. Leather and foam should be fine.

I had a friend of my laser cut them out of acrylic.....

The more firmer the foam the better it comes out..

What I used to shape hard foam is a tuna or sardine can and poke holes with a nail it makes a nice scraper....
