so...……………….. ive tried to get an answer for this question for about 22 years !!! in the usa you all use landau foam but ive rang every trim supply shop and foam supply shop in the uk and they reply to you as if you have just landed from another planet and have never heard of it !!!
so does anyone really know what the other technical name for it is ???
I know its closed cell foam but...………………………….
    is it neoprene
    is it EPDM
    is it plastazote
    or something else ?????
plastazote seems to be the same but i can only get it in black and you all use white which makes it much easier to mark on .
no guessing please i really want to know the tue answer to the long dragged out question .

    many thanks chris

No help with the foam question but I've found white liquid chalk pens mark black stuff great.I did get a load from the range at £1 for 4.

Landau foam is a polyolefin foam. Plastazote is a brand name for polyolefin foam that is available in different densities.

Go with plastazote if you re from Uk and you ll be fine...I was using plastazote for the last 15 years and no problems...just be careful with the glue and heating gun....cheers...
