What glue are you using? And why type of material are you sticking?

Most shops in the US use DAP Weldwood. I'm not sure of it's available in the UK though.

weldwood not available in uk !!! i believe i am the only trimmer in the uk to have it !!! i import it from California and hope to distribute it to uk trimmers as i have a trimmer on here who has already ordered from me

also with the jag headlinings and similar you need to seal it with Substrate Primer first

Our suppliers for contact adhesive is apollo adhesives in the uk.We buy it in 25 litre drums and use it for everything including jag headliners, not had any fail yet.

just had 3 tins land for my own personal supply and 1 other hog ring user ........... once corona is history i will look in to bringing bigger quantity's in

I just ordered Simalfa 321 water based glue. I'll see how it works. Anyone else ever used it? It has a good heat resistance rating.

what substrate primer do you recommend please. Been looking at a few but it's like another language when you get into it.

for some reason i cant start a new thread so ill use this for now ............... anyway i might have sorted a deal to distribute weldwood in the uk !!!!!!!!!! i know you all will want prices but not got to that point yet so just need to know if there will be enough demand in the uk .

I could be interested depending on price and sizes of cans.At work we use alpha buying four lots of 25ltrs at a time.To start with I would be interested in 5ltr cans, possibly more if I get more work.I think the aplha works out at around £75 for 5ltrs.

if it happens it will be 5 gallon tins as only other size is 1ltr !! are you using just a normal spray gun or pressure pot ? one of the best things ive done is moving to pressure pot !!!!!!!!!!! once your set up there is no way you will go back

I probably will be using a normal gun.I guess from the work i want to attract (bike seats and modern seats)I won't be needing glue too often hence the need for smaller cans.
