Old automotive seats that have burlap stuffing. What is new option

    Hello. I do alot more of marine upholstery. Is there a new option for the filler of an old car seat? I remember my father using a roll of similar stuffing. ( I am not sure of the name of it). Any help would be great.

    Burlap is used to tension the springs and provide support for the padding. Some trimmers use carpet to cover the springs but it is not recommend as it will over tension the springs and cause them to prematurely break.
