Hello again my Auto trimmers; I have been usung Nylon Bonded 138 or Polyester 135 threads to stitch Steering wheels but for some home it seems to be those threads are a little too thin; when are the recommended standard size thread used for this?
Will the 270 be too large or just right? thanks

i usually use 92 to sew the pieces together and then i use 138 or 207 for the visible portions

    Hello guys,
my name is Kruno and I am from Germany and work in a R&D Trimshop for a German OEM. I can tell you the most of the german OEM´s use the Serabraid line from Amann. You can have them in different thicknesses and also waxed as an option. The threads are great to work with. Cheers

I agree with Kruno. The Serabraid theads works quite good for handsewing. Smaller sewingmaschines can get problems with the thickness of the thread. So maybe you have to combine the threads.

Thanks for the tip Krunoslav. I'm going to try that thread out.
