You all do some real fine work. Here's a little sample of my latest:
First is an old school vintage racer. Had to build everything from scratch. Customer had the seat frames done by a master craftsman who did these by hand. All material is ostrich leather.
Next is a 40 Ford PU that I freshened up with all leather and wool carpet. A little added touch in the headliner. On a side note, the customer has owned and driven this PU for over 27 years and it was only reupholstered to make it a bit more comfy, and it used to be black.
I know this is mainly an automotive forum but if you care to see some aircraft work I've done just comment below and I'd be happy to share.
Not my latest, but it's a favorite. '56 F-100 with a 392 Hemi. GoodGuys award winner. (Puyallup. Wash.) People's choice. Judge's choice. Beast paint. Best interior. Best truck.
Hey everyone, here's a few from my latest. '73 Porsche 911
Unfortunately I lost a bunch of my personal pics of our other cars when my computer bricked on me, but I've got links to some articles done on a couple of them.
Hi, Guys :) Just finished working on my 7th project and 5th automotive interior since Mr. Cesar Chavez inspired me to buy a sewing machine and start sewing things. Not tired to say thank you and mention you everywhere :) Hope each of my next project will be a level higher than a previous one as i find learning this craft to be the most interesting thing ever lol
Hi, Michael:) Please dont say that lol People are different, their talants are different and they are achieving with a different pace. In my opinion to say that somebody is under achieving is fair just when that somebody gave up, and lost a desire to learn and achieve at all. As one very respected person said:...There are now wins without patience:)
I had to present my work/shop at a fair of a economic award. Problem was it was on the 3rd floor with a small elevator and stairway so i could not use a already made car of one of my customers. So I made the best of of the situation an cut a car into a half (i have to cut the half also in 3 pices to get it into the elevator :-! ). A lot of hours later my new advertising project was ready. And it worth the afford! X-):D;)
THX! We are actually searching for a possibility to put it in a glas covered trailer. But there are still some problems with the agency which is responsible for the traffic :s
