Is the middle strip centered? It looks like it may be wider on the left than the right side of the vee.

My machine has a hard time with them too. Turn the wheel by hand, feeding and guiding with your other hand. Dont try to get right up to ends of them. Its a visor not a bucket seat. Also i just leave the threads long and tuck them in instead of backstitching. Pull them through to the inside of visor add a drop of glue to help your peace of mind.

This is from another forum. Solarfix clear. Another shop did a job I saw that used clear Tenara clear that was better but still stood out from fabric. I would make sure needle isn't too small so it doesn't stress the thread as it is sewn.

Be aware the transparent thread looks white on many fabrics.

I usually use 1/4" staples and put them in at an angle in thin stuff. Use stainless staples for marine.

Or if you use WiFi in public spaces card info can be nabbed. I'm sure there are many other ways they can steal your card info.

You may have a virus or trojan snagging the card details and sending to fraudsters.

I have used their semi-rigid foam on other things. Didnt think of them until Cesar mentioned it.

They may have been comparing to prices for an auto dealer to buy a new one and install.

If you find a good used machine a servo motor is a simple bolt in replacement. You might need to change the belt. They are great; worth every penny.
